Onco-Fertility Consultation
Empowering Choices: Preserving
Fertility While Battling Cancer
In the public eye, there is a general perception that future pregnancy after the diagnosis of cancer in not a possibility and might even be detrimental. In many instances, this is not the case. Onco-fertility counselling provides many options for individuals undergoing cancer treatment to preserve their fertility and increase their chances of having biological children in the future.
Creating a tailored fertility preservation plan begins with a comprehensive evaluation of the individual's medical history, cancer type, and treatment protocols. It's essential to consult with a multidisciplinary team, including oncologists and reproductive specialists, who can offer personalized recommendations such as egg freezing, sperm banking, embryo cryopreservation, or ovarian tissue preservation
