During the period between 15th and 18th of March 2017, Dr Loay Kassem had presented, on behalf of Cairo Cure team, the results of a retrospective research project on locoregional recurrences in Egyptian breast cancer patients. The study was presented in the 15th St Gallen breast cancer Symposium which was held in Vienna, Austria, last March. St Gallen Breast cancer symposium is an important conference that is held every 2 years by oncologists all over the world and that aims to reach a consensus about treating early breast cancer.
